lol sure asses like vu give a complete fuck what anything is said in here. They have the right and theyll use it as they see fit. Whats the point in moaning about it?
Then why are you moaning about other people moaning, also, you think that not one single employee of Vivendi Universal has ever read the comments section of CS Nation ?

Also, the comments section is where people give their opinions of the matter, I gave mine, whether I moaned or not doesn't matter. I'm entitled to say what I like.

    Hooray, well done you !

Was it even friggin necassary to even bother looking at a release candidate, let alone delay the game again?

this is just bad for business, Valve should just distribute their own products, and be a publisher themselves if they could.

Why would Valve even stay with publishing it out on CD anyways. When you install it it will install to Steam....So why not skip the whole Retail on store shelves project and just release through Steam.

steam if far from perfect, it would take the term of your natural life to download HL2 if everyone who would otherwise have got the game on cd used steam

plus some people want an actuall CD with HL2 on it

I believe vu was planing to hold hl2 hostage for a while against us and valve because they what ed more money;because around the time they received hl2 copy they bring up the August 27, 2002 lawsuit for no real reason.maybe because they what more money i guess they are greedy. valve has always been about the fans.If vu does delay Half life 2 they will probably go down and burn in hell for what they do. lol hahahah hate mail agaist vu could be emailed to them till hl2 is released

Doesn't vu now if they do delay Half life 2 for 6 month they will re wend there name and probably lose more then 40% of there customers.if they do it they will wish they haven't because it my kill they company just because vu was greedy and knew hl2 was going to sale big time.half life could most likely be game of the year but vu may have destroy that.

I feel like everyday that Half Life 2 is delayed, the less impact the graphics will have on me. Not that they matter, but you know what I mean?

The SAGA continue's! Does anyone have a link to VU website. I for one would like to say hello to them for creating such stress and ill thoughts among the gaming community.

I hear theres is a new delay. To bad the gaming community is growing really really impatient with all this crap! IMHO, window of oppourtunity has passed both Valve and VU by. GLHF, trying to get the gaming community on either side. This game was highly anticipated by the people that pay your salary by buying games etc.. Now the majority of the gamers just don't give a crap anymore.

you can taste the noobish speculation

Nobody knows what the hell is going to happen.

VUG and VALVe could make an agreement to give VUG x percent of profits through Steam-sold HL2 copies and start selling HL2 before the holidays, making truckloads of moolah.

VUG could sit on it for 6 months and be like "Nanny nanny boo boo!", then give the game the gold status in March.

Do I want HL2? Hell the fudge yeah.

If you read that "Hostage?" article again, it says that VUG is bound by the 2001 SPA (service protection act?) to release the game in the next six months, as long as the RC is blatantly bug free.

What does this mean? It means that the game, which could and should be good to go, is going to be released on or before march 2005(depending on how well a job VALVe did on debugging, which I am quite confident in). This makes me content, and I (unlike hordes of impatient, pimply faced fanboys and forum whores) can and will wait until the time that HL2 is released, at which time I will purchase my copy through Steam and enjoy it quite thoroughly.

Thats my story and I'm stickin' to it, damn it.
