f i showed you the code from linux it would look the same as code on any other platform. all code looks the same when it's uncompiled, no matter what system it's on. the point of developing ON linux is that it's safer and more secure, so if it was online it'd be less likely to get hacked. i didn't say develop FOR linux because linux lacks proper support for game tech.

yea i'm aware of DoD. the discussion, however, was about how CS:S is supposed to be a commercial product (it's HL2's multiplayer, not a mod, so it better fucking be as good as HL2) but it's still clearly a beta. valve screwed us and we're not even getting adequate content updates. that's the problem.
