I can't believe someone cracked it for the sake of 3 days or whatever. Nor can I believe how insecure the Steam system is, that someone managed to crack it already - am I going to shell out cash for HL2 when everyone else just cracks it instead?

I'm too lazy to research, but will the preloading be for all Steam customers, or only those that will actually be able to play the beta?
