Yeah i agree. It is not very expensive, but Pay to Play? Thats pretty pathetic. There taking gaming to another level, but the level is too high.

But wouldn't "stealing money" mean you wouldn't get anything in return? Getting a good league for $5 a team probably - doesn't seem too bad.

it may have its benefits, but didn't munoz always claim that his goal was to expand esports, to have them accepted and respected in the sports community? how will this help expand? it's a whole direction AWAY from sports. athletes don't pay to play sports. they'll lose people and attention this way. very very bad idea.

Actually i think it will be HARDER to find a clan as they wont let just ANYBODY on their team anymore. Tryouts will be way harder as i see it.

This is quite weird, if you want new players to go into the league they wont go, because they have to paid. So there u have all new players dropping, Indeed there are alot of questions is 5 dolars per team or per member?, is this going to apply only for CS, or for all games?, I wish this could be answer, its a good move by saying it would reduce the players at cal, but there would be alot more quality players, but as well there might be prices, servers for the gamers to play on, and a lot of stuff, I dont think they just going to charge 5 bucks and dont give nothing, I even remember an article on gotfrag.

Wow, $5? That's nothing. You guys need to get jobs. This is a definetely a good thing, it will filter out the hackers and the crappy teams that don't try. Maybe a cash prize. Are admins getting paid? This is definitely a good thing. The only teams that will be complaining are the clans in CAL-o and CAL-im. Alot more competition and professionalism. And maybe someone won't want to spout a racial remark because they might get suspended and they paid to play.
