My Linux box has scripts that if a DDoS or DoS attack happens, it will take down the services or what ever it hit or attacked, shutdown the server for 1 hour, then restart it's self, its also working with Wake On LAN, thats how I keep my server running a lot better now... But still DDOS, is gay...

The servers still go down... Only they stay down an hour after the attack ends.

Hang on though. If it was as simple as this, VALVe would have taken an even simpler option: applying access lists to their routers or getting the ISP to do the same.

Its funny, they are attempting a form of terrorism and their demand is to bring a 7? year old online authentication program back to replace a new advanced program that include automatic updating.
