and there should be no reason for your slowness unless you're all on dialup.
And even with broadband, the UK is by and large, a slow connection zone. We're pretty far away from the major ADSL hubs, so even if we pay out for the absolute fastest connection, it'll still be slightly slower then it 'should be'. They say broadband is up to 10x faster then dial-up - in reality for the UK it's rarely more then 8x faster. Still fast, but you get the idea.
