but why not resize those giant blurry POS shots to a more manageable size? itll make the blur less visible also.

Strange, I have DX9 fully working on my 32mb GeForce 2 mx. And that's an old card now.

dx9 will work on older cards, but to use the more advanced features a different chipset and stuff is needed, it mite run hl2 and stuff.. but its like all the gfFX cards are still not fully 100% compatible with dx9 stuff, hence why ATI is being the big "back funder" on all the hl2 stuff like at E3 ati had all massive stands and stuff for hl2, its a matter of what game u play which will actually utilise the full features of the dx9 engine and things... anyhow that aside

excellent job faq section is done well :) some answers still awaiting confirmation which is gud bcos no-ones sure on sum stuff.. but yea well done

[Off-topic]That would be great to put that above quote under that guys name with red block lettering. And don't do that to me, dang it.

Anyhow, I am pretty sure it's been quoted from Cliff or one of the developers that those models are not finished and should be replaced before release. (I am talking about the interview excerpt from the German video, by the way.) Not sure if that's true, but I hope so.

Oh, and I like it how Valve trys to make the characters resemble incredibly geeky gun-totting computer players, as though they were mocking us.

(i.e. Pale and skinny hands/arms, nicely trimed finger nails, odd shaped heads, hunchbacks, L337 glasses, and of course ugly faces.)

I'm no military expert, but I believe such a pose is pretty standard for soldiers. At any rate, the soldiers in Metal Gear Solid 2 look pretty much the same.

Nice page, keep up the good work CSN.

                  Yep its pretty damn standard.

TO YOU HATERS: I suppose you think they should stand perfectly straight up and march into battle as a single line, because thats realistc FOR A REVOLUTIONARY WAR MOD.

Some people have no brains? Not to mention that bending your back over DOES NOT MEAN ITS HUNCHBACKED. Encyclopedia, anyone??

it says "see push" meaning theres some where on the site that tells you about it. i know you can move objects, but it refers to pushing other players

                                "player collisions (read: pushing)"

Means player colliding with objects. It's worded a little poorly, and I'll fix that. But "read: pushing" doesn't mean "see this page on pushing". "Read:" is a common cliche that is used to explain what was just said.
