im not confused, it's just that the physics seemed to be hyped to be revolutionary when it's short of being so. Having a table move is not "neat".. it's already in CS 1.5.. having it flip over so u can sit on one of it's legs.. that might be neat depending what you're into.
You seem to have confused the words 'gimmick' and 'neat'.
Moving the table is neat. Being able get a table, strip its wood, construct a wall and setting it alight would be a gimmick, as would being able to tear down the wallpaper and construct small origami replicas or the gun you're holding, or cutouts to fool the enemy...Schmich wrote..
the size of the level does not scale linearly with the size of the file..
eeeeek make sure u download the maps u dont have before u join a server...if u have to wait 10 times longer than know, the map will be finished (timeleft-> 0) before u finish downloading the map since the server changes level.Comment

say we have a large box which has 4 sides and a small box with tonnes of models in it.. which will have a larger file size?
using your understanding, the large one would cuz it's so BIG!!!

ya i get wat ur saying but the big maps not only have an extreme amount of detail in it, but there are TONS of things in them, many new added items and a LOT of features, so a big map in this case, would still have more stuff even if the packed/small one looks cramped or w/e
