QFT. Valve is a joke ^_^
Obviously a joke why add more language support, i'd love to see what you think is negative about this. if you are going to bitch about not fixing bugs and whatnot I can guarantee the people fixing bugs (if they exist) aren't being used to update language support, of course those have nothing to do with each other.

Haha, this is hilarious. I'm norwegian myself, and seeing the text in the scren passing by in norwegian is really, really goofy and insane.

Although I'm disappointed in the fact that they mistranslated Counter-terrorists into "Antiterrorister" (Anti-terrorists), instead of the more correct "Kontraterrorister". Well, the rest of the translation is still pretty good, so I guess I'll live with it...

Long story short. You are saying that language localisation is more important than gamebreaking bugs. Valve has its priorities all wrong... Regardless of what team is working on what aspect of the system.....

I'm saying that language support has NOTHING to do with the fixing/lack of fixing of bugs. Valve didn't say lets add some language support but put off fixing bugs. The resources (teams) used to add language support aren't the same that would be fixing bugs. So my point is that your using a good thing (adding language support) and turning it into some way to complain about valve.

diamond dust, The whole "different sections doing different things" argument is so over done the fact of the matter is THEY ARE NOT FIXING WHAT IS NEEDED FIRST.

Even if there is a team bug fixing they are taking there sweet arse time about it and they should at least tell us if they are fixing things instead of leaving the css community waiting and thinking of leaving.

Bugs like half time crash and defuse bug are what could make and break this game as the next biggest competive game to 1.6.

They really need to fix some major bugs this year fast or else source is just going to slowly die, its all in valves hands sadly.

Tbh im not crashing at all maybe its time for a new pc instead? :) And also instead of always complaining, maybe you should start building your own game and start fixing all the bugs there? Dont like it? dont play it, pretty simple. And in my opinion they do their best more then enough.

Do they even HAVE a CS:S team working on ANYTHING?

News from that quarter is like, what, 3 months old? More? I think the last thing we heard was the slight boost to non-deagle guns, and when was that?

Is there like only one guy working on CS:S patches and he has every day but Monday off, or something?

Information in that department is sorely lacking.

The fact that all the other departments seem to be doing stuff just exasperates the problem.

I'm just saying why complain about bugs not being fixed in CSS on the comments for Steam language support. Whats next? they add a new game and we crash the comments saying OMG why aren't they fixing bugs instead of adding games to steam. This is steam news not CS:S news. I'm just as frustrated as anyone with the lack of bug fixing, but complaining here doesn't help anyone.

That's what we're complaining about...that there's no CS:S news to have a comments thread to complain in. =P

Steam has crashed a grand total of twice for me. Once when it was initially released and another when i had a shoddy net connection.

That was about 3 years ago now..
