but seriously stop flaming valve, the updates work just fine, if you have a decent computer. heck i got a shitty comp and it runs hl2 just fine. its a matter of configing.



heres some configs below, that have helped me and alot of my friends and their friends out in hl2, and cs source, also just recently found out that it also works with vampire bloodlines the hl2 mod.

I have a Ti 4200, which runs in DirectX 8, and it works like a dream, giving me good performance and awesome eyecandy (for that card) for a very good price. The one you got gets you to work on time, assumeing you actually have a job, if it actually starts, dosnt drop out of gear at an intersection, or overheat idleing! no, i got one game for $50, another game that shouldn't have come with it, and an incomplete and buggy, inadequately supported multiplayer i had to download out of the box. gg.

hmm... last time i checked a athlon xp 3000+ with 512MB of DDR400 ram and a geforce 6800GT wasn't considered a shitty computer. About that other guy, It does not say in the english language that using all capital letters in a sentence is the proper way to show anger and/or a raised voice. A simple explanation mark is much more than sufficient.
