i`ll stick to seconding both of these. I`m glad this happened, but i`m sad Valve wasnt first to lower prices. Something like a voucher for 10$ / Euro off HL2 or something like that would own.

I was just pissy I bought CZ at Best Buy a few weeks after it came out for $35. I could've spent that $15 on something else...



And to think Amazon is selling it cheaper than what Valve is letting it go for on Steam... I still say Steam will never replace the old brick and mortar stores.

how about i buy CZ over steam and get $20 off the Steam price of HL2 when it comes out? that alone would help re-unite the CS community and give Valve some cash flow to help develop future projects. I won't buy CZ unless the majority of the CS community switches to it. I would rather play an old game w/old friends than a new game all alone. making new friends is hard when you are a Internet troll.

Right...so that would be things like the crosshairs, I would assume. Maybe something like the dropped grenades and the like would be carried over as well.
