Don't worry about the prices of the damn weapons, and worry more about what weapons are worth upgrading/changing/adding/ or taking out.

Simply lowering there prices and raising the prices on the most used weapons wont make CS better...
people want more choices in weapons and gear... There are thousands of weapons out there that they could add that would help make CS better.
Not to mention some different game types to play, playing de_ and cs_ maps get old... think of a way to add some new game types into CS before you WAIST time marking up the prices on weapons.

I'm real glad something is being thought to change "Ak/Colt"-Strike. Sorry about you people who hate all other weapons. Still, I think maybe the primary weapons (Ak/Colt/MP5/AWP/Deagle) should keep their prices so people would complain less.
Also, I dont think any weapon (except Galil) should become more expensive, as it would increase the number of save rounds.
Now, on the prices...
Pistols: All but the deagle should be dirty cheap or they wont be used, especially by CTs, as Usp is great and cost nothing. I would make them all cost about a flash or HE. None of them are overpowered (except Deagle). Most people wont expend much on a sidearm, unless it's dirty cheap.
Shotgun: $1400 is fine, would like something like $1200-1300. It's very hard to use, albeit powerful
SMGs: Good prices, but keep the MP5 price as is.
Rifles: Again, keep Ak/Colt prices, because of whiners. I do think Ak is under-priced, but most maps are CT sided anyway....
Aug $3200 - Good for pubs, still would not be used by Pro
Sig $3300 - Really, there isnt anything that can be done about this. Ak is super-super-cheap, hard to not choose it. Only option I see is pricing it under the Colt (like $2800-$2900). It's not like it's over-powered anyway.
Galil/Famas - swap their prices. Galil is underpriced, Famas is overpriced. But do not rise their prices to Ak levels as they are not very good weapons.
AWP - Keep its price, whiners galore....
Para $4300 - Good price, would prefer $4000. will still be under-used.

Ok first off...
Why? Why do they need to be changed? For some reason do you think that everyone should be using the stupid ass P90's and shit like that? It's going to get to where every gun on the menu is going to shoot perfectly straight and kill everything the way its been going. Why keep fucking with the game, just sit down and play it, if anything change what is nescessary and it won't suck.
(*)Also, most importantly, raising the prices will only force more "eco" rounds onto players and make it even more random in terms of how many rounds you can play with complete equip!Comment

The deagle has so much power for its price but is such a pile of randomness, like its hitboxes and overall logic make no sense and any gamer in the world would back that.Comment

Those changes look spectacular. Especially so with the increased damage and accuracy of both the TMP and the MAC-10. And of course the price decreases for both the AUG and the Sig-552 Commando are great.

how about instead of changing weapon prices and the money system even more you go back to 1.3 netcode; when it was actually skill based and you had to have the crosshair ON the person and not shoot at their feet or 10 ft. behind them and get a headshot. now theres an idea.Comment
