also not being "patriotic" doesnt mean you have to be a socialist. realising that you dont need to shoot people is generally a pretty good step forward in life if you ask me.

Without it, porn on the Internet would be illegal which is pure censorship. Congress tried to censor every single American.

As far as Bush/Gore goes...A problem withen congress should obviously be handled by a third party (such as the supreme court). However, changing the constition to fit their own personel beliefs - and not reading the constition for what it is - shouldn't be.

If congress had this power it wouldn't have set the precedent that money = free speech, and probably would have never passed the law since many republicans had assumed it would be ruled unconstitutional anyway.

The Judicial branch is the only branch of government that protects the minority. It would be silly to ever consider limiting their reach. If the vast majority of an electorate wants something, amendements always supercede a Judge's rule.

As far as the "Passion" comment, I found it rather amusing, personally. Movies on religious subjects aren't somehow exempt from being used to comment on violence in society. Agree or not, it did bring out a point that some people accept certain portrayals of violence, but not others.

The point was, even if you don't get fat, you're still losing muscle mass if you don't exercise. Anybody with the slightest clue about how the body works will gladly affirm that to you.



The more sedentary your lifestyle, the higher your body fat percentage, even if your overall body weight doesn't go up. No exercise = no muscles no matter how fast your metabolism is. Really, it's not a difficult concept here.



Oh, and just because it was brought up so many times, I also detest the Chinese government. I think what I detest even more is the prevailing attitude of much of the world (sadly often including the USA) of overlooking the constant atrocities that corrupt government commits against its own people. Why do they all overlook these things? Because China is a huge trading partner, and who wants to mess that up?



Take a situation like Iraq, and sure, I think taking out the existing government was the right thing to do, as it was in Afghanistan. However, the saddening part is simply that there are far too many governments that are horribly corrupt (just look at Africa, for instance) for us to replace them all. Heck, it's not like any other country in the world would step up to the task, especially not without a payback.



So yeah, China has a terrible government in place, but so long as people are more concerned about getting their favorite T-shirt from Walmart for $5.99 than they are about the lives of a quarter of the world's population, we're not about to do anything about it. Yeah, sometimes the general populace really disappoints me, and by "sometimes" I mean pretty much always.



It's not like America has a perfect government, but it sure as heck beats most of the other twisted systems out there.



On a final note about the UN addressing these issues instead of the USA, let's be honest: the UN in recent years has had about as much potency as the League of Nations did so many years ago. NATO is about the only somewhat strong multi-national alliance left, and even that is becoming weak as the EU grows and more conflicting interests come into play.

I do agree with somewhat with this article and weigh 1 approx 150lbs but weight-train 3 times a week and work 6 days a week. i have been playing cs since the start (half-life mod/before retail days) and i dont think that my eating habits nor my diet have changed to much at all the one thing i do fall guity under is that i do spend a lot of time at my comp -_-.



Now this Second Amendment thing has got to stop we're all spectators in this country we cant change the laws only rant about it till they do (or a patition :) so even though both side of the argument have there strong points and weakponts looking to as im taking a neutral stand. Still I don't support the Democracy of the US run by a man who only says "My fellow Americans..." You see your taxed for when u do good and fined for when u do bad.They ask for money when your born,living,married,dying, and even when your already dead.
