Valve are probably going to update CS1.6 with rituals new weapon models and player models after CZ is released so everyone can use them.

so as i have read this, ive uncovered that sme people want it for free to 30 dolla, and it turns out that the amazing cz skins i am running an 1.6 right now wont be in the final game, which makes these skins not cz at all, so that means they are just amazingly good replacements for the 1.6 experience and should be posted as soon as cz is released because no1 will see them cept me and the french >_> email me and i will give u the url to them on the day of release >_< kekeke.Comment

oh and looking at the screens from the frag-whatever review, the only thing that has changed is the freakin maps!!!!! the damned maps look slightly up to date now atleast.
oi and ya know how inferno got a 1.6 update? well, every1 of the "updated" "cz" maps reminds me of every texture used in 1.6's inferno, which is rediculous, cus its like buying what we should ahve gotten in the 1.6 update. sheesh, if ya want a real game go buy bf1942 and dl desert combat until hl2 comes out :/Comment

Ohhhhhh, man, from the screenshots I see condition zero with little improvements from cs1.6. With the different skin models I believe we can dl through steam. I think there is little value in buying the CZ for 40 bucks. SAVE the money for HL 2 !!!!!! :- )Comment

i've allready got the multiplayer game but i can only play with bots because there aren't any online servers. the game looks verry like cs1.6 but iss much more beatyful but the bots are as dumb as my ass, if you have a terrorist and a counter terroris and they are looking at each other then after 10 secons they know its an enemy and start shooting but its a nice game. now i only need the single player game.Comment

Imho i dont understand why anyone would buy the game.
"The bots" : the bots are good but still lack in areas such as the shield and camping - just use POD
"The models/skins" : There are no new models or weapon skins in the actual game and the ritual skins are out there*
"The 'new' maps" : They can be found elsewhere as well*
"The single-player objective-missions" : Only interesting for really easily amused ppl; watching a tree grow is a worthy alternative.
"It's a completely 'new' game" : It's not.
*I can assure you of this: i have the maps, i have the ritual skins.
If you think its 'wrong' to dl stuff w/o paying. Welcome to real life. I'll support a company if i think that they've truly made a good (new) game, not simply because its their copyright or w/e legal stuff. Why would i support valve and buy their 'game' if what i was anticipating is clearly lacking. I'm still puzzled to as why such crap took 3 years to put together. In all honesty, everyone knows that CZ was intended to be a game on its own, a sequel, a continuation, and advancement. Sadly this is not what it is at all. Its just Counter-Strike 1.6 with hardly a 'map-pack' and spiffy bots. I understand your support of valve. But i will not invest 30 dollars in some game that could of passed as "cool" in the last century. For example, i support US and its probably the best country (in my opinion), but does that mean i have to support Bush? hell no, he's a moron with an intelligence that rivals an ape. just like how i support valve, but does that mean i will accept this crap? no. i will get what i want out of it 'illegally' and leave the rest of the bs behind. In fact, in my opinion, i think that amatuer mappers could've done a better job on making the old official maps pretty. And the bots will never, ever, truly imitate human behavior. Its a cs 1.65 if anything. Multiplayer Gameplay is completely identical, there is a lineup of retouched maps. Wait til i've actually played the game? I have : www.counter-strike.net. you can dl it there. So don't get excited about this game, we all already have it.
You still are gonna buy it though? At least admit its a map/bot-pack, not a new game.Comment
