if that kid in canada gave the kid in grand rapids 2 pistols for an ak, the kid in grand rapids got a great deal. Dunhams sporting goods here in michigan sells ak-47's for $200. Good luck finding a single pistol for under $200. they are retarded for sending firearms through the mail though. If anyone here is from canada, are canadian citizens allowed to posess firearms? 1. the reason humans dont have very developed fangs/claws/strength/speed compared to other animals is because we are capable of creating advanced tools. so hunting with our bare hands would kind of go against nature. also, it is unnatural to give the hunted a fair chance, so using a gun doesn't really make someone less of a man.

2. if you go by that logic you can take it even further.



ex1: the gun does not in fact kill anyone. it is the bullet which causes the death of a person. the gun just causes the bullet to move extremely fast. therefore we should ban the sell of bullets, as they are obviously the true source of murders across the world.



ex2: neither the person, nor the gun, nor the bullet causes the person's death. what in fact harms the person is the wound, therefore it is imperative that we ban wounds immediately, as to further prevent deaths.



the fact is that only people can murder other people. if they don't have a gun, they'll find some other way to do it.

Uh... in the Africa and places near it, you can get a used AK for less than 100 dollars (saw on History Channel; because of the over production of Ak-47) and people would not give up their guns because under the U.S. Constitution(Bills of Rights, Article [II.]) it's a right to bear arms (Unless it's a banned weapons or not in a Database or in a crime) and also some people have guns to feel safe...

If the government did try to take all guns away, it would cause riots over the Constitutional and rights and all this other stuff.

I personally don't understand why a parent in their right mind, would purchase, or allow the purchase of an illegal assault rifle for their child.

Sure, owning an authentic Russian Automat Kalashnikov would be pretty cool, to put on display.. but not to the extent of buying ammo for it, loading it and bringing it out into public. If I had an illegal assault rifle I sure as hell wouldn't bring out with me somewhere to show off to my friends.

an Airsoft version of the rifle would do just fine... Unless of course you intend to use that weapon for something, and hunting deer or any other game with an AK47 is a bit overkill. Please understand this is not a flame.



In the article, it refers to the teen as being a catholic. This bothers me a lot, but not because I am catholic. This part of the article, subtly assumes, and helps others assume that members of the catholic faith are supposed to be saints. Religion has nothing to do with this situation, making that comment completely irrelevant.



I would really like to know what Americans are so afraid of, that they need a gun or maybe 2 or even 3 guns in their home.. what exactly is it? I would really like to know.

If you are all so afraid in your own country, move to Canada.

Allow me to enlighten you a little.



Welcome to America, where I have the privilage to hunt with a any firearm(that is legal and carries a required ammo capacity, mine always has only a 5 round clip) to hunt with in privately owned land or public wildlife management areas, period. I am not crazy about bolt action rifles,(prefer auto loading) and I liked the MAK-90, it was a cheap rifle and has a slightly less recoil. If you don't like it, that's your problem not mine because it's perfectly legal to use to hunt here in Louisiana. Secondly, you obviously have little to no clue about hunting and being a outdoor sportsman.(or possibly live in some firearm or hunting restricted state, not exactly your fault) It's a hobby that teaches you to respect wildlife, our enviroment and help keeping the natural population balance in check of game animals/rodents/nuiances that has been screwed up by US, i.e. MAN. Many many sportsman are also big supporters of perserving wildlife, their habitats and wildlife management zones with organizations such as Ducks Unlimited.



So in short, don't go there until you know what you are talking about, thanks.

Neronix, I disagree. This owuild be covered regardless of Counter-Strike involvement. CS was hardly mentioned. I think that if those guys were stupid enough to try that, they shouoldn't be licensed to play CS or any game.
