No. Some courts may hold it loses trade secret protection, but even that's not a given. And it's still copyrighted. In fact, Valve can use the DMCA to take down any sites posting the code.

Its sad that any power user with half a brain is using Outlook, much less with the preview pane enabled.
My mom disabled her preview pane, because she heard about the potential for intrusions, heh.
All jokes and ribbing aside on this one, this is a horrible thing, perhaps one of the worst things to happen in the gaming community for some time now. I can see this as a harbinger for insane problems with hackers, who as well all agree, are the biggest bunch of jerkoffs ever (w00t l00k @ my l337 HS c0un7!); which in a way, is fine, because we all beat them up in junior high, without an aimbot or wallhack, heh.
If I personally encounter any dickweed even claiming responsibility for such a heinous crime, I'm going to smash him in the face with a brick.Comment

reverse engineering would have gotten this out at some point or another, it just happened to get out because someone who knew what they were doing got the source before it was released.
