I'm not having a problem logging on it starting cs...grrr also, does steam like freeze up when you do more than two things? Also can't get the "automaticly update cs" thing to work, it just freezes. 8{

Anyone else feel like the release hurt CS in more ways then one? I feel like ever since this whole fiasco has begun, its been a downward spiral for CS. Tons of clans are dieing, people are bitching and complaining like its going out of style, and I even find myself not being as interested in CS as I was just 2 weeks ago. I still will continue to play the game, since theres nothing out there that can top it, but Im just not as into it anymore and I dont think anyone else is either. I feel as if the beginning of the end is near =(

its amusing listening to everyone bitch about anything and everything. settle down, go play outside, or actually GO to school...where you should be anyway, and most of all, be patient. steam will be your favorite little software program in due time. its new, of course there will be some bugs. valve is working their butts off, im sure, to get everything going as smoothly as possible. they have a lot on their minds right now: HL2, steam, new mod teams under the HL2 (source) engine, etc.... cut them some slack people...or like i suggested, go outside and play....hmmm......a SPORT or something? try using your legs for the first time in a year.

im sorry but it's really very annoying all this STEAM SUCKS stuff, steam is an innovation, open your eyes and experience it. Example: The Wright brothers, the inventors of the aeroplane, sure it only went a few feet at first, but look at planes now, its relatively the same with steam, its a great idea, it will just need some time and the understanding of the users to reach its perfection, its new, giev it a chance.

Steam hasn't done anything spectacular - it's just a new and improved way of doing the same shit. Only it sends the bugs with the shit so you don't have to wait for the flies to hatch.

i have been having only slight problems loggin in...it takes a couple trys and then i am going...but i have noticed a lot more lag going on in the game and just an overall lack of speed on servers...they load up fast...with low pings..but they dont play fast...as it would seem...cs is just lost...i dont even know whats going on n e more with it...



thank god nhl 2004 comes out on monday...and when i get that burned ...its on..no more steam..unless i am bored...

After the initial conversion there won't be these same problems with Steam, because there won't be 7 million people downloading 400-1650 MB of content simultaneously.
