ok, question, is it still 1.6beta or did they finally decide that after 15 years of development 1.6 was ready for release?



I imagine all these steam problems will stop after awhile, remember how fucking long it took to get 1.5? well nvm, it took me 30 minutes, but it took my friend like 2 days to get it.



I never liked the steam concept from the very begining. Its gay, i say stick to the patches.

The concept of Steam is great, get updated without going to patch sites, but it's execution has been less than smooth. They need to plan a little more and do things correctly.

The problem with the whole steam thing is eventually when anyone wants to play a valve game they have to use this damn useless steam thing, I love playin' CS but eventually CS will only be available through steam, I guess it's time to find a new game. (America's Army NE1?)

sigh, will the madness every end?! I would have thought valve was smart enough to that CS is a very popular game and prepare for this kind of scenario. they probably didn't those cheap bastards... But at these we can play cs 4 free once we bought the game unlike those greedy Sony pll whose force pll to play every month for EQ or Star Wars Galaxies. AS if sont doesnt make enough $$ from ps2...
