ahh the 379M file works great, Valve should've just released that file. For those on 56k, I can burn this file and send a CD for a small fee, just email.

Pay the 6 freaking dollars to fileplanet and dowload the 300mb patch and yours problems will be solved. you guys wanted a standard patch theres your standard patch 300mb, enjoy. or wait in line a few hours for it, whatever tickles your pickle.

and my only problem with steam is i haven't figured out how to change me models. The other problem was losing all the hl2 movies. oh well.

errrr, dont know if anyones sed this, but if u look not only at cs 1.6 but at steamID's aswell, ull find out all is not wot it seems.



Search for steam.log if u have it installed, then look for a line which will this number combination.



0:0:XXX



the xxx is ur steam number, however, 0:0 is mod version, 0:1 is full release, so i dont think steam is finished just yet.



Also, for those lucky enough to have 1.6, it is not the full version. Proof of this is that most of the guns have their BETA names (Aug is Bullpup, valve have licsensing which requires them in full release to use the propper name of the gun) and cos CBBLE has a MASSIVE glitch on it. This may not be a problem, cos the tarts at valve have already been informed and so has every league in the world :>!

the morons didnt even alignment the rifle menus correctly. on CT the awp is 6, on T it is 5

DUDE strider thats because they changed the mennus for good duh..and dood greg you didnt pay for anything stfu its called d/l the cache and play i just got donw with 1.6 its the greatest thing ever...it owns all..steam rox...when you get it to work...period done finished
