one other thing if i already have the cs installed with it y would it be trying to dl cs, but not just there like the program does not work hmmm

I've had quite a distaste for the regular CS skins for over a year now... If I can't have my ultimate M4 and chrome deagle, I'd rather not play. :P



I perused this comment thingie, but I didn't happen to see any mention of it, and I'm in process of downloading Steam now... And I hope that I can use my skins, CS is great, but its so damn dated, they really make it better... visually.

thank god for bittorrent.. 50-100kb/s downloads - noo need to wait ficking 2 hours to wait in line for some fileplanet thing....

grr I'm using bittorrent and I'm getting speeds of 20-30kb/s. Anyone who uses this normaly know how to improve speeds?

I haven't had a chance to actually try my skins, as I keep getting hung up on a few screens. But I know for sure the changelog lists skin support as an addition. Whether or not it works though..Well, who knows?

It keeps on freezing when i click the automaticly update CS bar. I Steam to work but i can't download CS. Do you need to download hl to get CS to worK?

Grrr this is starting to shit me, to even get it to get CS i had to run then close steam about 20 times, then when i got it downloaded it took me about another 30 times for it to load the CS menu, then it took me about another 20 to get it to go into option or any menu, and i am still trying to get it to start a game, So crap so buggy, typical valve they screw up everything first DOD now CS and HL why do they even bother f#$king n00bs i tell you

either get a direct bittorrent connection (like having the internet directly connected on the computer) - or forward the relevant ports to your comp from the router... otherwise getting a source with 4000+ active seeds and downloads combined helps...
