At first I was all for steam. I mean, I wasn't going to put something down when I hadn't even tried it first. So I got steam working and updated, and now I have nothing but PROBLEMS. My windows is corrupted and crashes A LOT more often than before now. Steam is the buggiest thing I have ever seen. Steam has taken my games and compressed them into one file where I can't get at them... HL is corrupted like crazy now. I got it to run and it just froze showing a picture of Gordon...



I think Steam is worse than Kazaa. It is the worst kind of scumware, and it will destroy your computer.

I payed for half-life and I get this? This kind of bullshit isn't even worth going through for a free game. Thanks valve. :)

Probably too late to tell you not to delete them. Rather than having a directory, Steam has a cache file that stores all the data. This way, it becomes more difficult to modify the files within the game, thereby eliminating custom skins/models. Sucks, but effective.

...Totally dislike Steam! Took forever to install... then when I finally get into CS, it won't let my change my keys to wut I usually play with so I pretty much became a worthless nub! GRR!



Steam is the greatest letdown tho... If ther is no "REGULAR" 1.6 coming out, I quit CS. Not gonna deal with Steam, at least its a tiny bit better than beta :\

ok look morons....wtf why do you wanna change your keys also....ITS CALLED BIND DUH! like if you wanted to make normally left click to L for example you would type in console bind l fire i think im not sure but i mean just check the buttons and their commands as they are and then just change the key they are bound to i mean is everyone here a nub i havent been playing as long as those beta 1 vets but i started early in 1.1 so i mean cmon this isnt hard....NEOFX 1.6 REGULAR IS COMING THEY ARENT DONE WITH IT....DUH!!!!!
