The SteamInstall.exe file is about 500 kb, while the one with cache files is around 400 mb. For now, you'll only have any real luck with the cache version as the Steam file servers are currently overloaded.

I don't think anyone at VALVe got yelled at. If they released a buggy product, then yeah they would. I'd rather see a finished version than a crappy buggy one.

i got a slow server or something...mine had to update overnite. but my bro, who's on the same connection as mine...got it all set up and installed in 30 minutes.

What i think is/were bad:

- Install likes to freeze

- Starting a listen server took **a long** time, even after Steam finished updating CS.

- Guns are named in CS retail fashion

- Where are the frickin' bots??? I was looking forward for them.



What i think is/were good:

- When it froze, i cancelled, tried again and it went smooth (and quick).

- Sounds are not the irritating ones from the beta

- Fps seem better than in beta. Got good fps even in LagAztec.

'any half-life product cd key will unlock all the current content' so I go buy a half-life product, DoD, the only thing I could find in over a dozen stores visited. OK, fine, buy that. Girlfriend will still be able to play CS with me. Only thing is, IT ONLY UNLOCKS DOD! GRRR!
