Ive played cs since beta 4 and 1.6 is THE worst update i have ever seen. Why? because of steam. Hardly any servers for australian users, frequent crashes, buggy riot shield (I dont care what they say it still doesnt work like it should) and hey, with this latest update, i cant even play the damn game.

I was saying Alot of programs you download will fuck with your operating system.. Thus creating crashing on other programs. It's a good thing you can't play the game because people benefit from not having you in any contact what so ever with them.

If you can't play the game, how do you know the shield is still buggy ?

I blogged about this in my website, but I think what Valve are doing is good from a corporate point of view.



Think about it; they've got a chance to load-test their system on a massive scale, and by not putting up lots and lots of content servers they can do it by not spending much cash.



Content servers must cost them some money, why spend to give thousands of ungrateful assholes a free game?



What I'm trying to say is that all you people claiming that Steam is hanging, too slow whatever are just too damn impatient. You're logging onto a maxed out network.

It works fine for me, can't really play without bots at home because my ping is too high. I don't know what ups with some of your computers, but i know for me it gets stuck on 'preparing to..' i just wait for about 5min. then magically it starts again.



Azz0r stop smoking the weed its making you paranoid, no one is laughing at you. I guess right now everyone is trying to play at once so there is increase in activity. 1.6 beta crashed on my computer so many times after the july release but now its A.O.K.

Before this godam release I could play a game, that I payed for, whenever I want without any major problems; now I have another problematic layer pushed onto me, I dont want this steam crap blocking my game, theres servers out there playing that I cant get to because Im a friggin guinea pig in there network test, GREAT.
