HL2 is scaleable, which means it can configure it self (or be configured) to run on slower machines.

Oh, well that is cool stuff. I won't have to deal with all kinds of tweakage. Thanks for the info.

Its not like I have a super slow machine (xp2600/Abit kg7 and gf4) But the game sounded like it was gonna bring even the latest machines to their knees.

ive got a gf2mx 32mb classic video card and i get high fps on CS most of the time. you dont even need anything faster than a gf2 for CS.
