These are the same as the audio .90s only with a sound card?

Please explain why my audio 90s sound like crap. It's all hollow and shit. I've tried enabling and disabling EAX and it definately sounds better with EAX off.
Check your EAX settings. Not the ones in counter-strike, but the ones that are computer wide. You can access it from the annoying Creative taskbar at the top. You might have an environment set so that it sounds like your in a cave. This happens if you play cs_siege. I think it likes to punish you for it.

I use the DPS 500s and haven't had a problem with them. My Sound blaster live was nothing BUT problems so the choice was obvious.

I sat on my DSP-500's and they broke into three pieces. Put them in a box, shipped them to Plantronics, and they sent me a brand new pair via overnight UPS on their own expense. They're not very durable, but if you're within the 1-year warranty: USE IT!

Screw Sound...what i like to do is start up cs1.5, then i hope and pray for a pop-up to come up and close out my screen while in game, then when i X the Expedia.com pop-up, mainly beacuse i fly JetBlue and dont use expedia.com and return to my game ..there is silence..I then say things like " Wow it sure is scary being this quiet and all" and "I think its a little Too quiet"...only to be dissed..well i think ...after all i cant hear anyhting..but the $60 price tag does seem steep to me for a god damn ear piece...and i aint even cheap..ill pay at least $15 - $16 for half a cookie...cause lets face it..who doesnt like cookies

In terms of looks, but I think the DSP construction is a bit better. Before the DSP I had an audio .90.

I own these and I usually get a new headset each month, it either breaks by me sitting on it dropping it etc. etc. or just runs out of life and stops working. I've had these for 2 months I think and they are perfect, if you drop them they dont break which is a good thing for me. and they are still as good as when I bought it. I'm saving money when I got this because instead of getting new headsets..I just stick with this one.
