I've been using Steam since.... whenever it came out (and promptly fell over) last time, and have been more and more impressed with it each time i've used it. The content delivery is super smooth right now (well, it was before they opened it up to the public. Haven't tried since), and the whole thing just seems more professional than it did many months ago.

Then again, that is standard fare with beta software... so i have absolutely no idea where i'm taking this. Erm...

Seth, that's because you use the crappy windows xp default skin. Trust me, find a replacement and regardless if steam works or not, you'll be much much happier.

I've been using Steam since it's quick 1 day release back several months ago and I have had zero problems, except for some kinda of lag while playing sometimes, maybe it's a ram prob... doubt it. afk to update my video card.

                "Fuck CZ?"

You may be getting that error because CZ ISN'T RELEASED YET.

Nope, they'll make it avalible on Steam later, in 2-3 months I think. It's in stores since 2 months, they want more money. If you want to use VGUI2 in DoD, buy the retail, or wait for the next HLpatch.

tspoon, what do U mean by "eh, eh" with regard to my ISDN comment??

Hardly anyone has ADSL- BT and co. are now concentrating on ADSL, although NTL are still marketting it as 'broadband' lmfao.

"Have broadband - half the speed of ADSL and you still need to dial up!"

                          Erm no

I'm writing this on NTL Broadband, a permanently connected Cable service. Blueyonder offer a similar service. You can get this if you have cable TV.

Alternatively you can get ADSL from BT or an affiliate (http://www.bt.com/broadband/) - BT is claiming 71% availability which sounds like bollocks to me, but still...

You should be able to get ISDN access anywhere, but I think it's pretty expensive as ADSL is favoured instead (http://www.surfanytime.net/New_packages...vices/128.htm).
