lol im 1 of the people who laughs at all of this. You say that steam is now availible to the public but it WAS all along lol. u could easilly search the web 4 it and it was on various cs websites. Sure valve didnt want it to be recognised as being ofiicialy released to public but you could easilly find it.

ok, im in australia and i downloaded and ran steam the week it came out on a 56k modem and it was fine, as long as you have local 1.6b servers that you already get a get a good ping on with 1.5 you will be fine.

yeah i finally got 1.6 . . . seems pretty good so far. However ive been having some serious RAM lag, which sorta surprised me, because ive never had an issue with that before now. I can't believe that 1.6 would be using that much more memory . . . have any of the rest of you noticed this?
