However, theres a hook - unhook feature re-added. You can unhook before connect and just hook the dll. While beta9 was auto-disabled with this new module, beta4 worked with this hooking method (and still works...) They will enable that detector again, when they make it a bit better, just disable when new module really can detect the hook.
However FLeK0(*corrected*), Valve forced OGC to disable their "module detecter".Comment

Haha, Fleko (use letters...so you're not mistaken for a 12 year old) I know about the hook/unhook option, and it doesn't matter of course. The second OGC even try to hook the engine it will be detected, no matter if you hook in in-game or not. So as I said, play along and trust OGC. See ya on the ban-list

So basically andyp (by the way I was very surprised when I saw your name, because people actually call me that in real life, hence the name Andrew Pomeroy.. And in fact I often use the nick AndyP where Cyanide is already in use), I don't want to get technical, but you're saying that VAC can detect cheats at any time of gameplay, rather than just the connecting phase? Besides, it's good to know that cheats are getting waaay more technical now so perhaps the average cheater would be too lazy to go figure it out. Oh wait I forgot, cheaters have no lives! Arr I'm an idiot!Comment
you idiots are the reason battle.net wiped everyone's stashes a year and a half ago, i still havent recovered
