what i think is good for a nickname is one that makes people think that you suck so then they underestimate you and then die.



lt.frost is not one of those nicknames.



examples are:



bob, will, kous, mouse, paper, knife, pen, skater, tiki, G, fruit, loop, ball, desk, pop, cig, book, shelf, vanilla, cake



all i'm doing is looking around my room and putting words down and ive lost track. sorry.



yes so single words can give you teh tactical advantage.

I've used the name Dead Lesbian for quite some time. But I stopped using it when people online started to ask me if I really was a girl. HOw sick is that??



BTW. My current nickname CaRNi4(prenounced carnivor and not carnia) came of a crate with meat. There arent a lot of people using it so its pretty original...

my name came from a man advertising the hop on hop off company, he couldnt speak english and so was shouting HOPONHOPOFF!!! repeatedly (and handing out leaflets) and so then it became a common exclamation with my friends and i, then i adopt it as my nick when i start playin CS.

SO EVERYONE SHOUT HOPONHOPOFF!!! (forum spam or whatever)



oh and jerry is a nick for germans because it counds similar.

also i sometimes go online as HOPON the MAGIC BUS!!! because of the fantastic song by THE WHO (magic bus). although most ppl think its to do with the magic school bus program, but its not!!!



also HOP!!! useful for when u change ur name quickly in game (at lans etc)

and also clan tags wont work sometimes ie my tag is [eWc] but there are like 3 other clans who use ewc (with different combinations of capitals mind) so that doesnt work either

I got my name when i started playing half-Life online back in 1999. Think about it Gordan freeman was a scientist and im always mad at somebody and i loved madd magazine when i was younger. So MaddScientist became my persona. And i always played as the scientist in the big white containment suit in deathmatch. Started playing cs later that year and just kept the nickname since its fits me so well.
