The skin is definitely quite bad, but I can imagine a reskin of this being pretty good, as I rather like the smooth, error-free animations (yes, I know you don't really pull the pin like that, but it's a cool effect), and the modeling is pretty decent.
So yeah, no real appeal factor in its current state, but if somebody wants to reskin this sucker... I'd be interested in seeing the result.
UPDATE: This is actually a reskin of the Goat M61, and in that package there is a somewhat better looking green texture you can swap in with HLMV. It's still low res, and not really the greatest skin (not as bad as this one though), but I'd personally give that version more like a 6 or 7 I think.
