Whats wierd is that my server still says 2020, it should at least ne 2024 (as far as I know). It says it is in secure mode, but doesn't sem to be updating the module.



I have been stopping and starting the server.



I'm just glad it is a semi-private server.

Props to valve on this.. i dont care what happens even CS becomes cheat free the lower end of the community will think that about 50% of the community hacks.. if its ever possible where a game can go cheat free for about 3 years then it will eventually have everyone thinkin that no one hacks (wishful thinking).. this is great tho because its gives us more knowledgable ppl a more sense of security.. i am still yet to see some one hacking in 1.4.. am i lucky or what =x

Still OGC is still one in a few cheats to combat in the sub community, valve will have to screw that sprocket in there head to combat other VIP member cheats that are floating around.

sorry if this seems a little negative, but let's not forget that system came out with a new ogc an hour after the last security update..



I must say, however, I'm very happy that valve is finally doing something in response to the cheating. It used to be in pubs that about 20% of the people would be cheating (1 or 2 obviously, the others hiding it a bit).. now I barely ever see anyone cheating (and if they are, it's just wallhacking, not aimboting). Not quite as good as cd, but still pretty damn nice..
