In my school there is about 4000 ppl. Mostly whites. About 50 asians. A large amount of Hispanics. I havent heard one damn person call some1 a chink or the like offensively at all. Ive heard plenty of Mexican jokes. I really dont see how you foolz have it so bad. Hell i get ragged on for looking like how Hitler describes an Ayran german more then i hear a racist comment against an asian.

I think newby and whomever else it was that complained are simply paranoid. only a dumb okey would beat up an asian simply for being one. Are you sure there wasnt another motive.

with that being said the Xbox rocks... Everything from its 733 Mhz Intel processor to that darn nVidia Graphics Card. And HALO... o HALO. The best game in the world well besides Cstrike ofcourse. But I would agree that the PS2 is better then the Xbox primarily because it was released 1 year ahead and most people hate Bill Gates...

          First off... Great site rizzuh.

OK. I have nothing against game consoles, i like them, so please don't think i am bashing consoles.

As powerful as the graphics engines might be in any game console, they are limited by the NTSC & PAL video formats. The DVD format is also limited. In order to get the best picture, one would also need to buy a digital television capable of accepting progressive scan signals.

(I am assuming the Xbox has component outputs and is capable of progressive scan). Even with the best digitals TVs the picture will only be as good as VGA (640x480) or almost as good as SVGA (800x600).

When HD-DVD is a reality, then you will be able to equal an XGA (1024x768) or SXGA (1280x1024) picture, which can already be done on a PC.

I do think though that CS will not quite be the same on an Xbox.

It was not originally made for a console and probably won't reach it's full potential.

...Plus... What happens when they come out with an Xbox emulator for the PC and OGC X.0 comes out...."Hey,How the heck do you install Cheating Death on an Xbox"

Will Microsoft have to incorporate Anti-cheat stuff into the Xbox...

...OMG what the hell am i talking about.

          I'll shut up now.

          BTW

          GREAT SITE RIZZUH

One of the VERY few post I'll make.

              A) If you hate rizzuh so much, get the fuck off his site. He is paying for a service to give to you for free. He is spending his time finding stories to benefit us. He actually knows about 90% more shit that you will ever know about CS, yet you still bash because you think you're "the shit".

              B) If you hate consoles so much, STFU and don't post. I love my computer just as much as I love my XBox. Here's why:

              1) Portable. You can take it almost anywhere, just need a TV. Better than hauling around a 30lb comp, then having to bring headsets, and the monitor.

              2) Made specifically for gaming, meaning companies will try to make the best games with the best graphics for the time period the console is active.

              3) Friends next to you during multiplayer. Yes, I know you can do that with comp games, but comp games tend to be more serious. Take Super Smash Bros., it's like the ultimate multiplayer fun game ONLY if ppl are sitting next to you playing. I've watched ppl get punched and fall to the floor playing, but it was all in fun.

Now, you can hate consoles, but if you hate them, oh well, you're not obligated to buy a console. You're not even obligated to state your opinion about it, but you do because you think you're master and everyone should bow down to you. Please now, STFU, I'd rather play CS on a console because there will be less bitches, more skill required, and no cheating.

Hmm, a lot of drama here.

Okay, racism is a real problem in America. Jokes about silly things that sort of relate to race are not a problem. The reason I said that is because the controller was designed specifically for the Japanese market and brought back to the US. Of course it was a little "diss" at the Asians, but you expect me to believe that someone was hurt over this?

I never said the Japanese were horrible at winning wars or that I'm better than all Asians. I was mocking ignorance. I mean, did I offend "pansy girls" as well? I was acting like the controller is a sign of brute strength when clearly it's just a game controller.

Now, personally, I liked this mailbag, even though I wrote it myself. I thought I had a lot of ZINGS!!!!!!! but obviously it didn't. It's hard to be sarcastic and friendly, unless it's a story or suggestion mailbag. In a case like there, where it's just feedback, spitefulness and bias always work better.

Now let me be totally clear about this. I am not an Xbox fan. I'm not going to state my position on consoles because this is like the last site in the world to not have a console war, but I am not some sort of Xbox fanboy. I am a CS fan (and maybe fanboy), and since CS is heading to the Xbox I am of course looking forward to it.

It is my job (hobby) to cover this stuff, so I have to hype CS for the Xbox or at least have personal interest in it. Look at our subtitlem, it's simply what we do!

yawn, i only read the first 5 mailbags and responses and rizzah just insulted everyone who wrote in for no reason, why the hell do you have mailbags if your just gonna be a total ass to anyone that disagrees with you? I don't give a flip about the xbox or any other console, I enjoy playing cs on my computer, and I'm going to enjoy playing halo on my computer when it comes out for pc. I think this whole debate is null because cs on xbox is going to be totally different, there will be NO community regardless of ms' little network because you take the independent server admins out of the equation. You take tweaking cs (which I consider to be fun and interesting) out of the equation, basiclly you take alot of the stuff that makes cs really cool out of the equation. From the look of the news regarding 'xbox live' it appears the only content that you could change (such as skins, maps, etc etc) will have to be available on the xbox live servers, so I think its going to be interesting to see how ms handles that.

and i think everything is summed up by ms not even being able to give one good reason to get xbox live:

Top Ten reasons to get Xbox Live*

                    10. Japan is a day ahead so you can actually play a game tomorrow before you go to bed tonight.

                    9. You can find games 24/7. That's 8760 hours per year. (8784 in leap years, but who's counting?)

                    8. You can pick your own world-wide screen name. Sign up before Spleenmuncher is taken!

                    7. You can play someone across the country without laying 3,000 miles of ethernet cable through sewer pipes.

                    6. You can learn foreign languages while you play. (Well, you can learn to curse and cheer in other languages, anyway.) Sacre Bleu!

                    5. Xbox Live finds your friends online. It helps you make friends online. Just keep repeating, "Xbox Live is my friend... Xbox Live is my friend..."

                    4. Your scores will be on display for the whole world. Whether you want your scores on display is probably a matter of skill -- better start practicing!

                    3. People are more fun to play than game AI. People can come up with quirky strategies and emotional responses. And, in a tight spot, people choke!

                    2. You can talk with other players during the game. Is that you, Grandma?

                    1. You could be the best player in the world, but you just don't know it... yet.

                    *from the xbox website

also, is there isn't any news about how much the service would cost, its supposed to be 'broadband', cable, dsl? jack into your current connect or do you have to pay for a new one.

Addressing the public in an alcoholic rage, oh wonderful day. The award of best humanitarian goes to rizzuh. ::single clap:: ....quiet....

Also, yay for mugwamp! One more thing, aren't the comments supposed to be about people's opinions? If the creators of csnation didn't want peoples opinions they wouldn't have made a comments section. Criticism is necessary if you plan to serve the public, the public is what powers the site. Now imagine the shit that would be posted out there if people who didn't bitch never told people what sucked ass... Also lopinboy, It's almost like saying this, you just you consider yourself so superior with all that truthful and precise insight in other peoples opinions that you have, rizzuh lover. Never be discouraged rizzuh, we all do want the stories you look for to "benefit us." By the way, how's the csnation contributions going? = P

                            Tool:

I said that people's opinions are fine. What I wish and what actually happens aren't going to be the same thing, I certainly accept that. Saying the same flames over and over is not constructive and it's not very nice, either. Giving compliments, even when they've already been said, is a kind thing. This is just the general opinion on what's social and what's not; it's not censorships.

The public doesn't power this site. These people do. I thankful that people visit this site, but they obviously wouldn't visit us if we didn't have so much content. That's like saying you're a good chef because you eat good food. I thought I already said this in my earlier comment: I value people's opinions. The key is that one thought is the same whether it's in one or twenty comments.
Never be discouraged rizzuh, we all do want the stories you look for to "benefit us."
I don't understand how you can be so incredibly rude. I can't even begin to defend myself on such a striking insult that questions my selflessness. I do, however, hope that people who read this understand that I have been with the community in running CS-Nation for three years this coming August. It started off as a "thank you" to cliffe and Gooseman, not as a search for fame, symapthy, or money.

We're not a for-profit venture, as you must implying something different with your donations jab. No money goes to my personal checking account. It's explained on the donations page, I believe.

I'm not some greedy, evil minion and I certainly don't appreciate being treated as such. Your comment is exactly what I'm talking about. Pile it on, sir, I deserve nothing but the worst.

I hate it when I defend myself, but I end up looking stupid and overly-serious. In fact, I hate my entire existence and wish a generous bird would accept me into her flock.
