If XBox helps the development of CS, and brings more people to the game, it's a good thing. As has been said many times before, if you don't like it, don't play. It seems like the PC will always be superior for many reasons--easier to upgrade / change, better interface, lower FPS--so I don't think we have to worry about the floodgates opening and ruining CS for the rest of us.



Oh, and btw--CS Nation is a great site, Mailbags included, and probably without equal in the gaming community. Where else can you email the site moderator directly with a dumbass noob question and get a response the same day? I'm a fan--good work rze.

Because the topic isn't really suited for anything else other than the typical CNG shit. If these people were actually capable of debate on why "Xbox is gay" or why CS shouldn't be ported to it, they would.

LOL, haven't you seen all the posts from THS saying "where's the mailbox? How can I submit to the mailbox? Can someone tell me where I can write to the mailbox?" etc? It's freaking hillarious!



Personally, I always get insulted when I submit to the mailbox... yet I always end up laughing my head off in spite of it. The whole point of the mailbox, as I've seen it lately, is for people to submit their wonderful thoughts, and have them ripped apart in funny ways by Rizzuh. Call me a masochist, but I really enjoy the mockery, the humor that is outrageous, irreverant, and completely out of proportion to reality... that's exactly what makes it funny!



I love the mailbags, personally. Sure I get made fun of, but it's great reading the comments that get made about all our stuff. We give Rizzuh enough crap through the comments sections that he finally gets to have a little revenge in the mailbag. Enjoy the humor, or just skip that section of CS-Nation.



I will make one complaint, though. I remember back a while, when the mailbag topic was something like "what map do you hate the most, and why?", and some guy proceeded to talk about his favorite map. The comment was simply a picture of a baby looking at CS-Nation on the computer, with the words across it "Hi, my name is (whatever), and I cannot read mailbag topics." I seriously laughed for like 10 minutes over that one... any time I looked at that picture I just died laughing all over again. Granted, you can't always come up with something that absolutely hillarious, but some of those really sarcastic pictures have been great in the past. (The "There is a reason I am not a game designer" one was pretty good too.) Toss a few of those back in if you get a chance... those were a great way of singling out the dumbest submission for sheer mockery... good times. :)



And yeah, I know it may sound kind of insincere after you've mentioned that you'd like to hear "good job" a little more often and see a little more appreciation for busting your butt keeping this site going. Not only Rizzuh, but the whole CS-Nation team... I think you can rest assured that the fact we're all here, bitching and moaning, but still loyal to your site, is evidence enough that we all love this site, and really, really appreciate the work you guys put into it.



There's always going to be offended people, and those people will always be the most vocal. Hard as it is, try to remember that the vast majority of us out here, reading your site really are thankful for the hard work you put into it. Keep it up!



(BTW... let the anti-"racism" comments and console-bashing/praising comments die already, eh? We all have different opinions, no need to force one down someone else's throat. To quote someone who posted earlier on CS-Nation in a wonderfully politically incorrect way... "Arguing on the internet is like the special olympics: even if you win, you're still a retard.") Hehehe...

ok, so THS was just some guy who couldnt manage to navigate through cs nation.... btw. i also had a BIG laugh at those pictures, and that about a baby sitting by a computer, the name of that guy was physalis, if my memory doesnt fail me..(another btw. i have found someone even more stupid(?) then THS, it wasnt a cs site, but in the guestbook he said: "can somebody tell me where the "index" is??" roflmao

HEY RIZZUH, dont be so dissapointed in this mailbag, it has probably been one of the best in a long time. I mean, we've already had a shitload of posts, and it s only 2 days old! NOT only have we tackled the issues of counter-strike on X-Box. But single handedly we have also tackled and addressed the issues of rascism in America today.



HOLY SHIT, CS-NATION IS NOT ONLY A GAMING SITE, BUT A MODERN DAY PHILOSOPHY WEBSITE. HOLY CRAP, RIZZUH YOU MIGHT BE THE NEXT PLATO (or some other greek guy who wears a toga..... ummm nevermind)

Hmm...few points here



1. To play with the xbox the player must have extremly large ape hands that are equally nimble.



2. Half Life on the PS2 wasn't that great



3. No mouse? Ha, is it gonna auto aim?



4. Console=Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Starfox, Resident Evil, and Donkey Kong. Can u tell what system I like? And no, I would not support a gamecube version.



5. Theres that big green thing. Yea, it scares me.



6. I know theres that new controller, but it still sorta sucks.



7. Hmm...did I mention we should kill any xbox exclusive and port it to the other more...worhtwhile systems.
