      :x

      We can only hope.

      But really, people. Take killing AFKs, for example. It's a joke. You shoot their head, you miss. You aim lower, you miss. You aim higher, you miss. Not until you shoot them right at the neck or in the body do they die. SUX.

          Since your so god like go get a job at Valve and fix everything yourself. I hate people who bitch about updates not comming fast enough when they dont even know how much work it takes. jojojohanson go ahead and say whatever you want but keep in mind when have you EVER used Microsoft Visual C++. When was the last time you #include <iostream.h> or int main() or even better yet

          class CFuncJail : public CBaseTrigger

          {

          public:

          void KeyValue( KeyValueData *pkvd );

          void Spawn( void );

          void Precache( void );

          };

          LINK_ENTITY_TO_CLASS( func_jail, CFuncJail ); //link func_jail to CFuncJail

          void CFuncJail :: KeyValue( KeyValueData *pkvd )

          {

          CBaseTrigger::KeyValue( pkvd );

          }

          void CFuncJail :: Precache( void )

          {

          // Do all of this in here because we need to 'convert' old saved games

          pev->solid = SOLID_NOT;

          pev->skin = CONTENTS_JAIL; //make a new content type; go to CONTENTS_LADDER, add your new

          //content type with the next available number.

          if ( CVAR_GET_FLOAT("showtriggers") == 0 )

          {

          pev->rendermode = kRenderTransTexture;

          pev->renderamt = 0;

          }

          pev->effects &= ~EF_NODRAW;

          }

          void CFuncJail::Spawn( void )

          {

          Precache();

          SET_MODEL(ENT(pev), STRING(pev->model)); // set size and link into world

          pev->movetype = MOVETYPE_PUSH;

          }

          How well do you know the above ohnestly dude stop being a ass and respect the work others are doing. Oh and one last thing no one really cares if you buy HL2 or not because it's going to have no problem selling.

                    You haven't said a damn thing contrary besides "liar." Jesus Christ man, get over yourself. It feels exactly the same as previous versions of CS.
                    (extremely fast computer)
                    Yeah... Those are the "uber-leet" of gaming rigs out there. Those "extremely fast" line of PC's.
                    (cable)
                    So pings in the 30's right? On average that is.
                    (Im Shooty McStabbyface 4.43.47.10:27015 come by anytime and get your ass handed to you)
                    That'd be a bit difficult for you, would it not? You know, what with your constant whining and moaning about bad detection?
                    (Ive been playing since BEFORE cs)
                    So this is now a contest to see who's been playing games the longest? Big-freaking-whoop. I was playing games before CS as well, go figure.
                    funny that a lot of people talk about this issue but there has NEVER been ONE official comment on it. The aim is fuxored! Can I get an AMEN????
                    Maybe they're working on it, maybe it's fine. Maybe you should stop your constant bitching about it and actually ask them yourself! Perhaps take some demos and videos of your god-awful detection at work and submit the files to Valve. You know, do something but be a general pain in the ass by being just like every other pre-teen kid out there who demands the world, but never does anything to help in the fixing. A novel idea if ever there was one.

                      You honestly shouldn't be allowed to know C++. You're too stupid.

                        zips.. no reason to criticize the guy just for giving his point of view.. which I for one happen to agree with.. ever since the last update, the game is close to unplayable even though my PC is pretty good and it used to run very smoothly. Also, hit detection has always been weak in CS:S.

                          So... Take his criticism and lack of substantial backing up of such statements as "liar" without credible proof?

                          Right... Right.

                          As I said, stop whining about it and do something. I can run the game just fine, am able to find a nice assortment of low-pinging servers and don't notice any decernable change between 1.6 and Source hitboxes.

                              It's hard to pay attention to someone who doesn't have half an arguement to begin with. Just help fix the problems you see and stop you incessant whining.
