1.3 jump plugin

I think this is a really bad idea, like Rizzuh said it's going to create a rift in the community. Now I'm going to hit "We can't handle change servers" vs. "Normal Servers", major dis-service to the CS community, im my opinion.

i know there are a lot out there that are opposed to the new jumping changes. this game however is free, and however you may think it, whether you paid for the retail version or nay, cs does not belong to us. it belongs to the cs team and valve now and forever will be.



and i applaud the cs team for implementing such a controversial change. this is something that they've apparently always wanted and fucking kudos to them for not simply comforming to public scrutiny like a pack of lapdogs. this mod however im sure will satisfy all those who's only qualm about 1.4 is the lag jump. but i agree with rizzuh in that once this gets around, it will only do more harm then good. change is the only constant ppl. live with it.

Well, maybe before a new jumping system is made to eliminate bunnyhopping, the consequences should be thought of. Just like slowing the walk speed. I bet they never thought twice of what it would do. If the jumping system is tweaked in the next version of CS so that it doesn't slow down the pace so much, everyone will drop 1.3 jumping system and move on. Problem solved. But people just aren't that patient so the mod should suffice.

ok, here is my opinion.. ive been playing cs since the beggining. Almost every mod that has come out with.. someone has disliked it. in 5.2 - beta 6. it was the netcode. everyone started to complain. but im sorry to say. this new 1.4 mod, has completly ruined the game... basically to put things short. they took every invdividual tactic that mad a player greater then others. and made it so that n00bs can play at the same level. what im talking about is , recoil, jumping(not bunny hoping), but like with pistols, quick scoping, even walking. of coarse there is going to be a way to be better then someone else in the new mod. but the style of cs is COMPLETELY diffrent. in matchs, and in pubs.



for almost everymap in leagues i would look at a T score of 10-2 ... with ak and the walking. Ts will have a feildday if they plant. they will automatically know were the CTs are because if there is a 35 second timer, they cant WALK there, because walking slows u down to like 20%.



all together valve choose to ignore the 15000 people patition that was made. which included every elite clan member, including 3D Dop, 0e, etc etc. keep the style 1.3(recoil, quick change weapons, PISTOLS, walking) and keep the hltv and chasecam views, maybe even jumping(doesnt bother me that much) 1.4.. this would make cs so much better.

No, if it weren't for the CS community, there wouldn't be any CS today. The community makes what CS is. If the community didn't make maps for CS, we would still be stuck at beta 1.

I'm with xzibit, jumping is tolerable but the (recoil, quick change weapons, PISTOLS, walking) is awful now.

Rizzuh is a damn smart guy.... A worl of freedon is one of chaos. That's why communism is smart. Give people a little of something, what do they want? More. Exactly... There has to be regulations to everything. This change is for the better... They may fix it like RTCW and have stamina. They would be better. But for now it's mostly the noobs crying cause they don't understand that CS is a game of change and has always change and upgraded. You crying is not gonna make Valve change shit. Learn to deal with what you got and stop the bitchin'. They are fixing a problem that has pissed people off for a while. And then they fix it, and people get pissed. They is just no pleasing stupid people. Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers. So Vavle better watch out... Half the people that play CS are the dumest people you ever met. Don't know how to get out of their own may let alone anyone elses. You guys just need to stop the crying and learn to deal with it. This game is gonna keep changing until no one plays it. well i've installed another plugin by hullu that basicly does the same thing, my clan and I are going to test it for a bit to see if we like it and also weigh in the fact that we will have to disable it for matches... as far as the cs community goes, our server has always had a problem with attracting people, currently its full after I installed the plugin... don't know if that means anything or not.



Personally I don't think the changes in 1.4 have been as drastic as everyone makes it out to be, I mean the way people go on about it they sound like valve is making them play with their feet instead of their hands. We will see what happens, but if people 'leave' cs because of this, well... good ridance.

No that's not why. In communism, you have no money. You get what you work for. You work for an hour. You get bread. The government owns all the businesses. Form the products that produce, they set up trade with other countries and trade for... not money, but for other things. Like food, wood, and steel. And that' how it works. Not because they don't give out mass amounts of freedom like the united stats. They also didn't get bombed like me did. Because they're government doens't really piss anyone off except us.
