I get 10 frames per second on havana in some spots for some reason(just started happening today, I should defrag my comp...) and just because it has detail doesn't make it good. I do like how hostages are close to escape points but I like assault and militia more just because you have less areas to cover whether you're CT or T on those maps. My reason behind not like maps is either because they somehow bring down my beast(TNT2) or I suck on them(or if a team gets raped).
Edit: Oh yeah, sometimes I just flat out don't like a map for no damn raeson.

Half-Pint wrote..Absolutely. Part of CS's vitality depends on variety in gameplay. Planting bombs and rescuing hostages is boring, but I find VIP escape maps really get my blood pumping, especially when you're CT and the entire team is rushing, guarding flank, etc around the VIP.

How about some AS maps.. I mean they are an OFFICIAL style of gameplay.
So far we have 2, yes 2 maps. We need more.
More VIP maps, get rid of the overplayed DM
I'm with him on this one. How exactly does CS credibly state it's a played format when it isn't. I love oilrig and tundra but there is no new content except for a seemingly neverending number of DE maps.
Deadbeat wrote..I agree totally, when I heard they may include a new play type in 1.5 I was greatful, but then again, ES and AS maps are hardly played (or played, but frowned upon) as is!

I think Seige should be left in, it is very fun to play. It could be "evened" by making the entrance to the sewer in the garage less of a narrow deathtrap for flanking CTs.
Finally, I love the new maps, especially Chateau. Bombsite A in Chateau is my new favorite "CS place".
Hey Rizzuh, maybe your next mailbag should be on everyone's favorite CS place, ie. your favorite spot in your favorite map.

Deadbeat wrote..Amen to that
