I cant wait for the bodies, but I understand the Radio problem.

The solution they've used it wrong, but frankly, it didnt make sense.

Yes, you can hear people talking, but it was INSANE how far you could hear the radio from. Basically, I could hear guys at the bottom of the tunnel in Italy from the house.



My favourite part is the less accurate while jumping/ cant do the quick change DE/AWP.

sirmon, gooseman wanted to make a game that in his mind would please him... and if making things unrealistic does the trick then thats what we're stuck with =P

First their trying to make it realistic, and now it's back to unrealistic?



The Jumping sucks. Simple as that. You don't play CS as long as I have and get used to a major, pain in the ass change like that.



And I still see they didn't fix the bugs in cs_estate and cs_assault.



Guns were fine.... Why do they keep fixing things that aren't broken?



You want realism? Go play Operation FlashPoint. The death match made it fun. And no, I'm not a little 10yr old either. Just 5 :-P

Well they slowed down just about everything in the game. jumping, weapon switch, walking, etc. However, it seems more deathmatch than ever while playing. Sneaking around is very hard now because your footsteps start so quickly and walking seems much slower. So it seems like people are running around collecting headshots the whole game. Its amazing how easy it is to get a headshot.

new spec modes, They fixed the armor buying. Fixed de_train so that you can shoot over the hitches between boxcars. NO longer automatically switch to rifle if you run over one.

I think they messed with the general gameplay too much. I don't see what was so bad about 1.3. There are some cool new additions, but 1.4 is definitely less fun than 1.3. I guess I'll try this SOF II.

However, even this new dumbed down version of CS will probably still be the best online game. So... I guess I'll probably keep playing for now. *sigh*

I've been beta testing 1.4 for a few months now, overall the game has inproved, theytook out the bunny hopping and stuff, but there are some shitty changes, slower swithching, WAY to big head boxes so it's headshot o ramma!



And cheating is back just as strong as in 1.3, wall hacks, speedhacks, aimbots, they are all there sig.........

shooting while jumping is like playing at the national lottery ... you never know if you gonna win/shoot where you aim (even if you are skilled player/perfect aim) ... you just need to be darn lucky



in my opinion... CS1.4 will receive much criticism ... we are no longer in beta stage ...VALVE should never change THAT much the gameplay!

The game has become noobish and skilled players are no longer rewarded ...they just want to fuck up CS so we could buy CZ!

anyway the CScommunity in belgium will deceide if they install CS1.4 on servers ... we don't have to upgrade ... for competition we might still use CS1.3 (dualboot gotta love that!) ... one OS 1.3, other OS 1.4 for pubs

i'm glad to hear that cs 1.4 is comeing out my only concern is pings , it seems to me that counter-strike is being made around low pings ( cable, isdn etc ) i think the days of a 56k modem person wanting to play a good game is numberd. also cheats .. you all know its not going to take long for some wanker to crack the code and make a cheat up and with in 4 days its spead over the net like chicken pocks. the voice com , umm i have the latest sound card and i still cant set it up so i can talk with my fellow clan members , i hope thay do some thing about that. also how big is this bad boy going to be ??

TFC community doesn't care that much about changes now... TFC only needs bugfixes and more official maps. But anyway, Eric Smith (from VALVe) said that there will be big updates for TFC in 1.1.1.0. Most probably the last big update before TF2?

there are already CS1.4 cheats going around and valve can't stop them
