LS1 headset

I dont use voice comm becos my comp suxs ( 2mb ATI Goddamn & super lag !!!!). So i play on lan pubs / cafes, my comm of choice, just shout to the guy I am playing with. ; )

After feeling the temptation to rip off the plastic casing and start making out with the cardboard-paper-backed woman's face, you quickly realize that the packaging for this product isn't all that great.

I have this headset, and still use it. It's kinda hard to use since the left headphone dangles, and I have to hold it against my ear. My Dad sat on it for those of you who are wondering...

That model of planatronics is old news the new version is out and is better quality at what should be the same price called the audio 60. Ive just ordered my audio 60!

I can´t believe that you had your headset round your shoulders! "Now I can hear where the enemy is" hahaha. Wake up man, you can´t play CS without a headset - well you CAN, but not very well. I have a Sennheiser 490 headset and I won´t settle with less. In fact I have used it so much that I had to change my haircut. hehehe

They're the same. I've talked to Plantronics about it. See the notice at the end of the review.

Rze, I got a good solution so you don't trash your headset... What I ended up doing was getting a plastic mug hook (that you can pick up at any hardware store) and used clear chalking (instead of the water activated glue that comes on the back of the hook -- in case I decide to remove it in the future) against the side of my 19" monitor. When I'm done with the headphones, they get hung up and are safe from harm.

I got the HS1 headset, its got great sound quality, and with them working, I dont really need speakers, unless I purposfully need someone else to hear. But, its been a bit of a nightmare product, in that, it breaks so easily. When I first bought it, It broke as soon as I got it out of the box, I go for a replacement, and that lasted for only 1 or 2 months, which is poor, although, I have to say, I did abuse them a lot, I would often leave my desk and find my headphones fall on the floor behind me, many many times this happens, so, hmm oh well :).

Yeah that's it. Because I think my roomate would think I'm insane when he hears me talking to myself in my room for hours, I'm overly self-concious. Which one of us is really the shallow one?
