I have no idea what you're trying to communicate, but this was an unbias review. I wasn't paid by Plantronics and it was not an advertisement. I have no idea if you own this headset or not, but if you don't, then the problems your describe are probably coming from your microphone. Go buy an LS1. Like I said in the article, everyone says our (my friend and I) voices are clear with this mic.

To those that say "XXX is better," you're all entitled to your own opinions, but I've tried the HS1 and DSP-500 and both only offer a bit more bass, which I don't find that important. The microphones seem to offer similar quality, but that is fairly subjective. They're far too expensive (DSP-500, $130?? HS1 isn't even made anymore) to even recommend.

          ad·ver·tise·ment Pronunciation Key (dvr-tzmnt, d-vûrts-, -tz-)

          n.

          The act of advertising.

A notice, such as a poster or announcement in the print, broadcast, or electronic media, designed to attract public attention or patronage.

and no, i dont own that headset, because i live in canada and, chances are its not even sold or heard of here., and my mic only lets me down in the game.. if i try to record mylself with musicmatchJB my voice is crisHp and clear,.

That's a different definition. As in "he's advertising his wealth with his car."

The first definition listed (which you edited out) is "the act of advertising." And what is that?
The activity of attracting public attention to a product or business, as by paid announcements in the print, broadcast, or electronic media.
I can't believe that you're trying to redefine a word.

I guess it's not your microphone's fault that voice communication doesn't work. It's Valve's fault. Me and my friends have a perfect experience, but magically it doesn't work for you. Okay.

I like how you completely reject a review of something on absolutely no grounds, especially since the product would benefit you directly.

*gasp* im sorry, but does advertising not mean "attracting public attention"? you dont necessarily have to be payed to do so. , and thats exactly why i even brought this up..not because the review was bad, , it was tip top.. but because u advertised a product for free.. thats not the way to become succesful!, now you know that, rish, u must be greeeedy!! grreeedy as heck! muhahaha

Well, I don't know what happened in Canada, but usually when you say that someone is advertising a product it implies that they are being paid in return. Everything we do is advertising if you look at it in that sense.

Need to find the LS-1 (or the newer Audio .60) in Canada. Try Future Shop... (sorry for the long URL)

Rze, I got a good solution so you don't trash your headset... What I ended up doing was getting a plastic mug hook (that you can pick up at any hardware store) and used clear chalking (instead of the water activated glue that comes on the back of the hook -- in case I decide to remove it in the future) against the side of my 19" monitor. When I'm done with the headphones, they get hung up and are safe from harm.

The hook look something like this..
