CS 1.4 Release date

well... 1.4 sucks now, the jumping is bad.... it should be more after 3-4 jumps not 2... the aimer thing is ok... guess... just gotta get used to it... i luv the spectator mode... and other stuff.... its ok i guesss... but.... im on a 8 meg graphic on board videocard, and cs blows for me.. i dont get past 20 fps now... so ill just wait till i get a new computer, ... witch will be never... oh well.

I have been playing CS since beta 2 and so far in my oppinion this is the best revision yet. The jumping is only a problem for those assholes who like to jump and crouch while running and firing, which is very cheap/unrealistic IMO. My score is just as good as its ever been, and although the jumping bothers me a little bit, I consider it good, now people cant run totaly silent anymore by jumping at just the right intervals. I have already gotten used to it.

no cheeter........none of the previous CS betas and versions added gay unnecesary gameplay shit...previous changes that were made made CS more fun and less gay...the new changes take out the fun and add faggishness( hehe made up that word)...and are u saying that if someone says " duh..all u need is too adjust CS1.4 and it will be better" dumb?

omg some of the changes i dont like either but fucking live with it... gooseman is making the mod how he wanted it to be made so just fucking adjust to the new changes and stop your bitching cuz hes not gonna change it =P

I've played the beta once or twice, and it isn't the jumping that bothers me so much, it's the fact that you stop for a brief second after the first time you jump. So let's say I jump over something, I stop after I land, which is a serious issue. Not only that, but on maps like cs_italy when you have to jump up three crates and then jump into a window. I think it effects the gameplay too much, in some ways it will effect how maps are designed. Other than that, 1.4 looks promising. My only fear now is that the players I used USP in the face while jumping will now probably kill me.

Also I'd like to add that they totally threw the tactic of stealth out the window. Walking is way too slow, and tapping the keys doesn't work anymore, there goes half of my game

When I first started playing 1.4 I thought it sucked. The more I played it, the more I thought it sucked. I stopped playing 1.4 over a month ago and havent touched it since. Yes there are some kick ass additions like the spectator mode, but I agree that the jumping thing needs to be changed. I like the idea of getting 2 jumps before your speed is affected. I guess the gameplay is just too slow or something. Also, are we going to be able to customize our skins? Anyway, I guess Ill just have to adjust...afterall, I am a counter-strike junkie.

Lets look at the brght side, one the n00bs get pwnd badley enough they will all buy the sp version and play that 4 a while, and we shall all live in major competition for a bout a week or so :-)
