Although extremely fake (and really quite horrifying), this series is still pretty entertaining to read. It's a nice waste of ten minutes.

Its a good series. Yeah its very, very gory and explicit, but thats part of its appeal. After you've read a chapter you can just visualize the Recruit standing amidst the shattered, bloody bodies of his enemies, an evil, maniacal laugh coming from him. The author does a very good job of explaining everything in painful detail.

Think the author will go public and write a counter-strike book? Then instead of reading it for free, we have to pay for it. But since It's good I wouldn't mind. He could make it much more lenghty and instead of waiting a week for the next chapter, we get it all in one.



It would be like watching the X-files series and then paying to see the X-files movie, only, the CS book woud be good and worth the money.

well in order to have a counter-strike book, he should at least have somewhat realistic action scenes. i mean, cmon...jesus christ, he bit a fucking guy's face off, then shot a pilot in a helicopter, through glass, from a looooong way away. then the vip hit the building and didn't die, AND the helicopter somehow got lodged in the side of the building. then, he shot the guys leg off, which didn't kill him, then he shot him in the chest, and he still didn't die. then he shot a FUCKING ROPE from the same distance, and the dud was still fucking alive as he fell...AND he had the power left to scream. not to mention the story sucks, and if this guy wants to be Tom Clancy...well it's not happenin. oh well all in good fun :p

Ok, granted a book about a aniper cant be thatinteresting, but mabye he can change to another character, or have a whole group of characters.



And remember, all VIPS carry 200 armour so yes he could get shot alot and still scream...me thinks....

i think its pretty cooll, especially how he makes a proper scenario for aztec, but the main problem is he is everything annoying about CS, he is an awp whore, a TKer, whiner, psyco, perv (and yes this is a copy from the cs central forums but its a good point) and he never works with his team. although i dont think all cs based media should be militia2 style "never leave a man behind" heroics, it doesnt have to be about someone we would all hate.



i think these things would be much better if:

a)he didnt use AWP every round all though him being the lonewolf sniper is fine

b)he didnt kill friendlies

c)he had weaknesses and missed occaisionlly, failed a mission etc, coz he seems to be super human (or hacking, y some ppl hate this series)

d)he showed any emotion other than hate, the need to kill, and pleasure from killing. (fear maybe)

Excuse me but... THE GAME, MY DEAR SIR IS CS and a book will be meaningless as the whole set of episodes are spent on describing how the pervert kills his own species in gory ways.

There is almost no storyline, and if u remove the parts about the family and raping thing the story will basically be the SAME.

garry is stoned. he insults everything. the storys over at cscentral are little more than just decent. also, if one is shot in the chest, you'll screw up some stuff but you won't die. samething with a shot in the leg, since that will only rip apart your femoral artery probably yet you'll still die in minutes. its also possible not to miss targets. delta force snipers must hit 9 out of 10 targets to be qulified as delta force snipers. *exahale* hope i didn't bore you all with my lecutre. tomorrow, shampoo and cows.
