omg...this is scarily similar to Rainbow Six for Dreamcast way back when. I remember that was one of the main reasons I bought a DC, only to have the game come out 8-9 months late. On top of that, the game sucked and I sold it a week after i bought it. If CZ even comes out in March, it will be at least that late. Hopefully the wait will be worth it.

firstly look a bit closer at the date. its due (maybe another delay?) for the 30th March, which is basically the start of april to middle of april, before many people buy it and clans/servers/leagues begin to update fully.



also, is this a worldwide release date or just for a certain area, ie america or europe release?



also, seeings as 1.6/cz are linked from what ive seen so far, does that mean valve will be fighting the cheating battle on 1.5 for another 7 or 8 months.



if they actually bother that long, then some credit is due for their willpower...not that will help them much in the end.



i for one, was going to buy the game, however the long waits and increasing boredom with the present cs, has drawn me into cheating for a laugh. while others have left altogether, meaning ill copy or dl the game...valve/gearbox/whoever else, doesnt deserve any money for these sort of delays and mis-management.

I'd trust a random website's release info about as much as I trust the next EB for accurate info. <--Meaning, I would wait for an official statement about delays before going ape-doody.



If they were delaying the game another year, I'd really question what they are working on. They've shown the game repeatedly in videos as being playable, only thing I can think of is the "Tony Hawk" idea not working out and the dev team freaking out because they're unable to make something more than just CS with new guns, maps, and bots. Hopefully this isn't the case. :\

If this happens to be true then, really we shouldn't be too surprised about it. Gearbox has got allot of pressure on their backs to make a game that lives up to its name. I would say that its safe to think that since the release has been put back, more so than before. We will see 1.6 sometime within next month. In fact I think we should of saw this coming when 1.6 didn't come out earlier. I believe their plan is to test out the new weapons before the release to insure there acceptances within the CS community.

We also have no information at this point as to whether this delay is global or if it just affects the U.K.

hope so. But anyway if it is pushed back again, and maybe again then I just hope to see some other good games come out. Can't play cs forever, there's got to be a day when at least one game comes out that has great game play like cs and also has way more new features that can make it something worth playing. Waiting around for CZ and 1.6 if their pushed back that far could be just enough to say "ok time to find something new and fun". Play cs long enough with no changes and its going to get boring unless your some uber nerd who likes playing the same shit over and over for months on end.
