I don't think it's cartoonish at all, but I have to say the skin is quite blur and non-flashy.

The original AK skin is by far the best of any i have seen, all the updates of it seem to be far to wide and chunky

I say this is far better than the default and everyone else who goes on to say it's "cartoonish" needs to be a little more original in their reviews and be more honest. The skin isn't that bad and personally it wouldn't detract from my gameplay. The wood is very nice, but perhaps the metal could use some work, but maybe it's just the type of metal that is being used...it's not very traditional. So if you're all obsessed with the perfect and exact replica of their real life counter-parts, then go ahead and pass this one. Otherwise, it's nothing too new.

Actually, I like this replacement. Although the skin does look a little too smooth, and it also looks almost turquoise at the end of the barrel.

I like to have my AK have a new look to it... but i love this for the fact it looks used, which most AK's are lol.
