I think it would be cool to create a database of known cheaters and cheating clans. If their wonids, IPs, etc. were listed, as well as a list of handles to look out for, they could be ostracized from the community. The article was very well written and the actions of anisty will help to kill cheating forever.

but... back to comments on letting our intentions be known:

1)We thought long and hard about this

2)At the time when we knew this article was being written, I had just come out of undercover work. I had the intention of using our experience as a lever for something bigger.

3)We are now something bigger as www.xtragaming.com clearly shows. We support two clans who are world class: maybe you know internal life for quake? and they dont have to cheat. this is the community that we want.

4)I think that CS was heading down the plughole, we wanted to cause the paranoia. It helps break the clans up. Look at HLH, they bickered and got scared basically.

5)This is our approach, maybe its wrong, but there are many other anti cheat groups on different tacks, so i thought it wouldnt hurt to try something different.

6)I like what i do. It makes me feel like im helping out, and the cs community is something i want to help.

Guys i need some help. When i walk into a cheat protected server, the thing

automatticly bans me and says im cheating. I have never downloaded cheats

and all of a sudden it says im using flautz wall hack or some shit. really

weird. I have no clue what to do. Like 2 weeks ago i downloaded this auto

connect half-life thing from csnation.com... I uninstalled it after i kept

on getting banned from servers... I also uninstalled half-life and cs then i

reinstalled them.. then i deleted my half life restristry things... AND

STILL IT BANS ME!!! what am i supposed to do?? im banned from sooo many

servers now. I am clueless. Has anyone had this problem??? It makes no

sense, i have no cheats on my comp. i have never downloaded cheats either...

If anyone has any help send me a message. Im gonna go look at some public

Watch out for those hackers. Most are dumd as a box of rocks filled with helium, which makes them all the more dangerous with the newest cheats and hacking programs. If you piss off a guy with a nuclear bomb, would you rather piss off the guy that knows that the radiation is going to f--k him up too, or the guy who thinks chaos theory has something to do with Satanism?



Also in response to niets and you other cheaters, cheating in cs IS a mirror on crime in the greater world. Much like how cs desensitizes us to violence, cheating in cs desensitises cheaters to petty crime and corruption.
