Ah, i dislike popular products because its too forced for consumption leaving me gagging on advertisements on tv and film (the major two thats hard to ignore). If more people reject the norm we would get better and wider products with more quality and quantity instead of recycled gar-boge.

I saw the video and i wonder how do you awp without scope? When ever i attempt this feat i shoot myself in the feet. Leaving a bloody trail that inhibits campin. Over a nice cut with good audio and fine effects. Have to do more editting.Comment

Its called monopolising, ala microsoft. But thats not exactly the point in a magazine :P As for AWP, some strange people actually draw a crosshair onto their monitor, and use that to awp without scope. It strangely works.Comment

The advert in PC Zone gives the release date as 22nd Aug not Sept. Although, judging by the review, I'm not gonna be standing in the rain waiting for the stores to open.
Might buy this one on Steam, to test it out rather than risk HL2/Steam probs!Comment

Pharlap, all magazines review gold disk version of games before they're actually out in the shops. They only ever get a game after it's in the shops when it's a pile of crap and the publishers know the review will hurt the sales.Comment

A few nitpicks about the review... The reviewer made it sound like CZ MP is the same as CS v1.6, failing to mention the exclusive maps and game assets (models, sounds, etc).
"Sadly the buggy-like radio controlled bomb that we were promised, which can be driven into enemy encampments, is MIA."
I don't believe the reviewer completed the full single-player campaign if he couldn't find the remote-controlled bomb.
I do agree with him that CZ SP has an arcadey feel (probably makes converting to the Xbox easier), the gameplay is not excruciatingly slow-paced tactical like the Rainbow Six series.Comment

its that same with movies, games, music, they are all made to make more money, nothing is done from the heart and soul any more.
and drawing the dot in the middle only works for LCD monitors, on glass ones u get a bad parallax effect

ah the fine art of no scope'in; as naem said zoomin in before a shot would insure a hit in the center. otherwise as you may all know its wilder then 'Gina the prom queen on three hits of Mitsubishi.' Honestly i'm not much of a awper, nothing against the precious its just so damn slow for me. i'm not uber enough... hate the lag rape jedness.
the two biggest problem of capitalism is 1, that its a system based on perpetual growth. So you have a set size pot (the kind you plant marijuana in) that can yield a set amount of.. lets say 'weed' to smoke up your 12 'friends.' Capitalism says you have to increase your yield, increase number of 'friends' without increasing your pot size. So you grow one large plant instead of three plants and top off every 2 weeks at age month and a half until you reach the critical mass.. then what; you cut the poor 'friends' out of the loop, jack up the price calling it sensi seed's northern lights crossed with brother's grim's Apollo 13 and increase the price... ah, the second problem of capitalism is that no one has a better idea... maybe some major reforms like paying for content, ideas and smiles.
