• phxx.net, that cool gaming server company that helped us out in a pinch, has started up their own player search engine. it's obvious they are shooting for a faster, cleaner, simpler interface. players update ever 10 minutes, and servers ever 5. simple is better.
  
  
  
  
• csmapcentral is looking for multi-lingual volunteers to translate the csmc remote map installer into anything other than english. their primary interest is german(half their member base), but other languages are always welcome.
  
  
  
  
• capitol punishment 6, a lan in manassas, va, will be held july 25th-27th(23days) hoping to attain about 250 fraggers. there will be the usual counter-strike 5v5 double elimination tourny with the winners taking away $500.
  
  
  
  
• ggzleague is going to be a different type of league. not only will they have the usual league play, but monthly 16 clan tournys as well. check ggzleague out, and sign-up here.

• cs realism pack 4.1 is now available. this pack changes your entire cs experience. give it a look, then grab the light or standard version.
  
  
  
  
• cs map archives is a new site for custom maps. though they are starting with a humble selection, new submissions are always welcome.
  
  
  
  
• looks like the sept. issue of pc zone (uk version) confirms that cs:cz will be released the 22nd of september. readers can look forward to a full "review" of cs:cz. on an interesting note, the final score was only 79.
  
  
  
  
• nuked-klan has released a little program that has wars management, a calendar, team management, game server monitoring, multi-language system (french & english), and many other features. for anyone who is interested and not french, you might want to use babelfish.
  
  
  
  
• .n.destructor has compiled a little movie for you downloading pleasure. i think i liked the grandma and cartoon the best; not to discredit his awping skills. the movie is about 116mb and lasts about 10 minutes.
