My parents dont really care that i play CS. My dad usually watches me play it and my mom is some what intereted when she comes downstairs periodically. But my girlfriend actually likes the game and finds it interesting. She totally sucks but she killed some d00d with a nade onces, I was kinda impressed. IMO you have to be a pretty messed up kid to have a game like cs influence you.

I am a parent, and I love CS. In fact I have run my own dedicated server for over 2 years.

Great bunch of kids play on my server, including my two sons. No tendancy to be violent, instead it's just good fun. And a good way to relate to my boys. Most of the time I am rolling on the floor with laughter.

When I hear about all these uptight parents, I have to wonder what they did in their youth and why dont they remember?

Mother is prolly more hating towards games like Quake 3 and UT, coz when she first saw it, it was when i fired like a redeemer or something into a group of 6 ppl and got a 'MONSTER KILL' and mother got kinda pissed... Dad just laughed...
