My worst expirience playing Counter-Strike would have to be each time I play fy_iceworld...what a lame ass map. Oh yeah, remember all the fuss over the bunny hopping issue? That was pretty bad too.

It was a couple weeks ago on a Friday night, I was sick as a dog, my clan was playing a match and was up 7-6 in rounds and the sets were tied at 2. All we needed to do was get to 8 to win, and of course we managed to blow it and lose both of the rounds and the match. I was so pissed off I couldn't stay in for the night, so I went out partying/drinking with my friends.

*looks around nervously* Rivalution -Rotation- is a server I play on sometimes... I sometimes really suck on my 56k, depending on my connection that night... But when I get a half second drop on the enemy (thus we actually see each other at the same time, stupid modem), then HS aren't uncommon...
i was doing pretty well (like 26:5) on rivalution rotation, there was idiot guy who kept saying, "oooook..." whenever i said something, so i got pissed off because this guy stunk (like 2:7), so i said, "shut up you suck anyways" well wouldn't you know he went the way i went and hs me. the next round he hs me again, in a differnt rush spot and so i had to shut up.
We'll just say, it's spelled "oooookaaaaay..."
Granted, it's more likely just referring to the seeming BS that lag and packet loss can cause, but that's okay. :)
I don't know that I've had a worst experience playing CS. Sure, there's always crap that happens in-game, be it screwed up physics or annoying admins or whatever. And there's stuff irl that happens while playing, interpersonal issues or whatever.
In general though, mine has been the typical CS experience, with its ups and downs, and sometimes the greatest defeats coming only after the most impossible successes. So while you could claim singlehandedly killing 7 of 8 enemies after your team is slaughtered, only to be killed by the final enemy, is the worst experience... it's also one of the best, having accounted of yourself so well.
Anyway... decent mailbag, some dull parts, some pretty funny responses (liked the rat infested shanty part, hehe). Always looking forward to the next one. :)Comment
