boooo. the only thing i like about any changes, including aesthetics, is the graduated change from the edges of the water.

If it's an ancient temple, why would there be fresh corpses lying around? Oh right, because THAT'S A SHITTY IDEA.

I've really gotta agree on that, the light was the only thing I really had any problem with.
Ok, the lights in the water are pretty lame. They seem totally out of place in my opinion. If you wanted to give the map more lighting to those areas it would look better with like sticks of wood burning in various places mounted into the walls. Work lamps seem way out of place in a map like that. Perhaps it's just my opinion.Comment

put skeletons on the gtound damnit... who cares about those people still running amd k6s... and again, RUGGED
i think the number 1 thing that needs to be changed is what we're blowing up... there is a fucking lopsided crate that we blow up, the c4 probably costs more than it, making it a waste to even doit... unless your one of those people that like to waste money on fireworks and watch the money go up in smoke :/
i just noticed somthing else, the beams under the bridge dont make sense, those would in no way help support the bridge up, they would just add weight, and look stupid
THINK LIKE AN ARCHITECT OR ENGINEER... excuse my close examintion, but thats what IB does to u
one more suggestion, put something under those lights in the water, to actually give them a purpose unlike the bomb site whihch just has a fucking lopsided crateComment

Looks to me like instead of being difficult for the T's it's now damn near impossible what with having to jump over the holes in the bridge and have your movement slowed and all.
Why don't you just make a big hallway and setup the CT's with AWP's ahead of time thus removing the illusion of fair play.Comment

Aztec is one of the maps I despise the most. Whenever the teams get over 7v7, it's almost impossible for the terrorists to break through and then it turns into a huge camp fest. Same problem with dust.
I prefer maps with a more open play, like dust2 or train, which provide more routes and aren't as repetitive and boring. And like all unfair maps, you'll notice that the same people always join the "easy" side and then start to think they're actually good. It's pathetic really.Comment

i happen to like aztec due to the fact that it isnt falling apart. all the maps seem to do that anymore. i can completely understand, its much more easier to have paths and ways to get into places if walls have holes or are knocked down, and things are half built and falling apart
aztec is fairly in good condition, cept for the new bridge which is broken up a bit, but i think its good to have maps that arent falling apartComment

Say why is it that you're able at all to throw 'nades through the bridge, in the old and in the revised Aztec? Is this just a bug of some sort? Even though the bridge looks like some sort of mesh thing, it doesn't look much like something that a grenade could travel through without being stopped or at least deflected.Comment
