So does the release of 3 weapons/items imply that the M-60, machette and Flare could be added to CS 1.7 and the gas grenade, molotov cocktail and gas mask added to CS 1.8, or in some other combination like that?

Yeah, in a normal public server, 5 CT's could effectively cover say site B on Dust2 for the whole round, just by blocking entrances with gas grenades. When A T comes through, all messed up, they shoot them with ease.
Oh, and since an AWP can already go through dense objects such as stone pillars and such, Whats a shield going to do? Nock off 3 HP? It'll still kill you, if aimed right.Comment

I publicly defy anyone at Valve to give these bullshit answers infront of a live audience.narby wrote..
If you're going to equip the shield with a 5-7, you might as well just mount a straw with a fresh supply of paper wads to it.
If you're going to equip the shield with a deagle you may as well just attach an m4 to it too.
Hey, wow! I'm getting deja vu!
"Hey, how can we add something that doesn't belong in the game?"
"I don't know. You mean like the Elites?"
"Yeah, that's it. Hey, what about a riot shield?"
"Dude, yeah! But we need to make buying it extremely pointless to confirm that we're dedicated to adding Shit That Doesn't Belong in the Gameâ„¢"
"Yeah, whatever. Go for it"Dangki wrote..
Yeah. Instead of -150h for an elbow shot, it might only do -130. And inbetween shots, you could use the 5-7 to induce a mildly irritating rash on the AWPer. It'll bolster team communication with such important teammate interactions like "Try buying an actual weapon next round, fuckhead" and "Hey, i think you were more useful when you were flashbanging us".
It would seem very unrealistic to give the AWP full damage through shield+vest. It says it blocks small calibre rounds and slows down rifles rounds in the CS-Nation overview thing.
So pistols and SMGs should do no damage then and rilfes+awp should be greatly reduced.Comment
